Started in 2007 as their daughter’s 4-H project, owners Doug and Jane have cultivated a ranch where reindeer are a part of their family.

A Journey Through the Boreal Forest

The ranch's signature experience is a guided walk through the birch-lined trails of the boreal forest, lasting approximately 2.5 hours. Watch the reindeer as they leap and frolic through the woods, roaming freely alongside the guides while learning about what makes these animals ideal for arctic living. This tour is available year-round, and each walk is a unique encounter that varies with the season, trail conditions, and the reindeer’smoods. Suitable for all ages, though the tour may be a little long for younger children. Guests enjoy homemade cookies and drinks at the end of the tour while listening to stories about raising reindeer.
